We exist to transform access to the finance and accounting profession for young South Africans who are often excluded not by lack of potential, but by barriers of background, geography, and opportunity.
Grounded in the belief that education is the bridge to socio-economic transformation, our mission is to create pathways where talent can thrive. We know talent is universal, but access is not, and our work is focused on changing that reality.
Since our launch, the Foundation has reached hundreds of students and professionals through national roadshows, digital platforms, mentorship networks, and flagship programmes like Bridge the Gap.
We support aspiring finance and accounting professionals from high school through to qualification by:

Meet The Founder
CA(SA) and Speaker
I come from a place where dreams often felt like distant stars, Kanana, a small township with big ambitions. I was fortunate to access information that ignited a spark within me, a spark that grew into a journey of perseverance and ultimately led me to qualify as a Chartered Accountant.
This path, filled with both challenges and triumphs, shaped me into who I am today. Along the way, I realised that many young professionals, just as I once was, are held back not by their talent, but by a lack of guidance and resources. That realisation is where our story begins.
At Learning, Growth and Contribution (LGC), we are more than just a business. We are a bridge, connecting aspiring professionals to their full potential. We believe that every individual, regardless of background, deserves the opportunity to shine.

Bridge the Gap: Step into the Ring
Bridge the Gap: Step Into the Ring is an empowering workshop designed for aspiring Chartered Accountants to confront the challenges of the CA(SA) journey with courage, resilience, and strategy. Hosted by LGC Foundation and powered by FASSET, this event combines professional development with the spirit of a boxing ring reminding trainees that every round fought brings them closer to victory.
Through interactive sessions, design-thinking activities, and mentorship-led discussions, participants will discover practical strategies to manage workplace challenges, strengthen their professional identity, and build the stamina needed to complete the journey to qualification.
More than just a workshop, Step Into the Ring is a call to action: to equip yourself with the tools, community, and mindset to overcome setbacks, rise stronger, and claim your place as a future CA(SA).
